Lockdown Learning

Now is a great time to start learning something new, if you haven’t already started (or are looking for the next thing to learn). Here are a few ideas, all based on arts and craft (all online).

Ribbon Dying Classes:

Kate Cullen’s ribbon dying classes are moving online. She will be sending out packs including the things you need, to each member of the class. And then the lucky class members will watch via Skype as Kate teaches you how to naturally dye the ribbons. Kate is also aiming to make the class suitable for ages, so kids can join in too. Learn a new skill and do something different.

Jewellery Making Classes:

Similarly some talented jewellery makers are heading online. Also sending out packs so you can join in from home. Learn a new skill and create gifts to send to your friends and loved ones… or wear yourself. https://www.daintylondon.com/pages/makeyourownjewellery

Music Classes:

Music teachers are also heading online, though in this case you may have to have your instrument ready, or be able to buy one online (ask the music teacher advice before you buy).

Various artist, music and craft people are heading online. So if you have something in mind that you have been wanting to learn, have a look and see. If you have any ideas or anything you want to do let us know and we will try and include it in the next blog.

Flower Arranging:

As well as finding courses online, Bloom and Wild are doing mini flower arranging videos on their Instagram. Follow them to find out when their next one is.
