How To Balance Your Life.

Everyday Tips For Simpler Living and Lasting Harmony by Robin James

Published 2019

Summersdale Publishers Ltd

How to Balance Your Life by Robin James. Balancing your life seems increasingly hard in the busy world around us. But Robin James has come up with some lovely ideas – beautifully illustrated and articulated in this book.

Perfect to dip in and out of, How to Balance Your Life includes a wide range of ideas for how to live with more harmony. Including anti-stress tips, up cycling ideas, home decor ideas, creative visualisation, exercise tips, recipes and more.

Some of the ideas seem simple and not all will suit everyone. But it is a great reminder of the importance of our well being and how to achieve it. It is a slow living book which is easy to read and non-preachy. You are not expected to do it all, just pick the aspects that suit.

One of my favourite parts of the book are the recipes (being a bit of a foodie) including delicious overnight oats, hummus, and raw energy balls. There are drinks recipes too, including elderflower cordial and Mocktails! (Blueberry Mojito anyone?).

The slightly more obtuse ideas include wild swimming and sound bathing. Great for those who are a looking for something a little different.

A lovely coffee table book. The lovely design and short snippets of ideas and information make it fun and easy to read. Great as a gift or for yourself. Perfect for if you want to switch off and get some self care ideas that are doable, affordable and not online!

Available to buy on our website, on its own or in a well being gift set, with some other items to get you started on balancing your life.
